Utilizando remolacha —un alimento que mi abuela solía cocinar y que aún conserva la huella de esos encuentros—, el proceso trae al presente imágenes de mi familia reunida alrededor de la mesa, junto a objetos cotidianos que persisten como vestigios de esa memoria.
A medida que los pigmentos orgánicos se degradan, las imágenes se desvanecen, dejando apenas rastros de lo que alguna vez estuvo presente y evocando la fragilidad y el carácter transitorio de los vínculos humanos.

Using beets—a food my grandmother used to cook and which still bears the imprint of those gatherings—the process brings to the present images of my family gathered around the table, alongside everyday objects that persist as vestiges of that memory.
As the organic pigments degrade, the images fade, leaving barely any trace of what was once present and evoking the fragility and transience of human connections.
